It seems that Super Heroes are now forming alliances with the food industry. Batman now has his own burger and Orange Juice now has its own Avenger. Pictured above is the Batman burger that is now available at McDonalds locations in Hong Kong. The sandwich in addition to the usual beef patties and cheese, also features an egg. While featuring no obvious association with Batman himself, the Batman burger serves as a promotional tool for McDonalds Hong Kong, who also plans on releasing menu items based on other Justice League superheroes as well.Read More »

The leaked images of the new sets may not be final as Marvel, for some reason, has yet to get any mention for including its characters in the new sets. LEGO’s newest video game will soon be on show at this years edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes , developed by TT Games and published by Warner Brothers features popular Marvel characters such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, all, of course, in their LEGO minifigure forms. In addition, Stark Tower, Asteroid M, a Hydra base as well as the X-Mansion and a LEGO Manhattan are all settings that will play host to the variety of Playable Super Heroes within the game. Expect to see the game out this Autum for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and the PC.
LEGO has rebuilt the movie posters for Iron Man 3, in anticipation of the movies release in theaters on May 3rd, 2013. The movie, which features a $200 million budget, once again stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark.

An image of a brand new LEGO DC Universe Superheroes set has been posted on British retailer Argos website. The set, 76003 Superman: Battle of Smallville, is based on on the upcoming Man of Steel movie, which is slated for a release on June 14th, 2013. Featuring five different minifigures, the set includes 418 pieces and is priced at $49.99. Expect to see the Battle of Smallville set, along with other Superman inspired LEGO sets available for sale prior to the release of the Man of Steel movie this Summer.

Mr. Potato Head is now a Superhero! Thanks to PPW Toys new line of Mr. Potato Head’s inspired Marvel Superheroes, that will feature the likes of Wolverine, Thor and Iron Man. Each figure comes complete with accessories exclusive to each character; Wolverine has his signature claws, Thor his Mjölnir, and Iron man has his repulsors. The Mr. Potato Head Marvel Superhero line will likely be on display at the at the New York Toy Fair 2013, which is slated to run from February 10th to the 13th.

Superman will once again be making his way back to the Silver Screen this summer with the release of director Zach Snyder’s latest film, Man of Steel. LEGO sets based upon the film are also slated to join the LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe theme. The first (and smallest) set in the upcoming Man of Steel lineup, 76002 Superman’s Metropolis Showdown, has been unveiled in USA Today. Priced at $12.99, the set will feature two figures, Superman and Zod.
The Man of Steel movie will open in theaters on June 14th, 2013 with the associated LEGO sets likely to appear on store shelves around that time as well. More Man of Steel sets will likely be unveiled at the New York Toy Fair 2013, which runs from February 10th to the 13th.

A LEGO figure of the yet to be released War Machine has appeared for sale on eBay. War Machine, a codename for Lt. Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, is very similar to the existing Iron Man figure, namely due to the fact that figures of both Marvel characters share the same helmet mold. The figure is slated for release later in the year as part of an upcoming assortment of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets.
