A Canadian High School Teacher has built a LEGO Curling Rink, a unique creation that has brought together his love of the sport that has been described as “Chess on Ice” and plastic bricks. David MacDonald of Indian Harbour Lake, Nova Scotia spent more than $1,800 and used more 5,500 LEGO elements to create the Curling Rink model. Played on ice, Curling is a popular team sport across Canada. Mr.McDonald will be showcasing his model at upcoming Curling events in Canada starting with the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, which is held in Kingston, Ontario later this month, and at the Brier in Edmonton, Alberta in March.
