While Hot Wheels cars often aim to model real cars in 1:64 scale, Chevrolet has taken design inspiration from the die-cast version of the car and incorporated it into a model of the 2013 Camaro. The 2013 Camaro Hot Wheels Edition was recently displayed at the SEMA show earlier this week in Las Vegas and and will be sold as a $6,995 add-on package. While concept cars utilizing Hot Wheels inspired design have been produced in the past, this is the first time one is actually being put into production.
The Camaro also features Hot Wheels logo both inside and outside the car as well as die-cast brand’s iconic redline tires. Orders for the 2013 Camaro Hot Wheels Edition begin November 1st at Chevrolet dealerships while the car should be in showrooms early next year.
