A 1:1 scale truck built by tire company Goodyear will soon be auctioned off to raise money for charity. At nearly 11.5 ft high and 8.5 ft wide, the truck is made out of more than 250,000 LEGO bricks and weighs in at 1631 pounds. Originally displayed at the 2012 IAA Commercial Vehicle show, the truck sports real Goodyear tires.
The truck took 410 hours to build and will be auctioned off on eBay. The auction is to be held from October 19th to the 29th, with proceeds to benefit DocStop for Europeans e.V. The initiative aims to provide European commercial vehicle drivers ease of access to medical care when away from home.
