More LEGO LOTR Figures Unveiled

A brand new set of LEGO The Lord of the Rings minifigures has been unveiled, showcasing previously unseen figures of characters such as Uruk-hai, Gollum, Ringwraith, Moria Orc, and the Mordor Orc. The release of the the LEGO LOTR lineup is only a few months away with the first sets due out this summer.

Minecraft inspired LEGO Set Soon to Become Reality Thanks to CUUSOO

A Minecraft LEGO Set is officially being developed, after passing a feasibility review from The LEGO Group. The concept achieved more than 10,000 supports on LEGO’s CUUSOO website. LEGO CUUSOO allows individuals to present idea for LEGO sets and attempts to put them into production if the idea gathers more than 10,000 supporters.No word yet when the set will be released as it is still in development.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings Minifigures Previewed at 2012 London Toy Fair

The 2012 London Toy Fair has brought us a preview of the new LEGO The Lord of the Rings minifigures. The image showcases Frodo Baggins, Samwise ‘Sam’ Gamgee, Peregrin ‘Pippin’ Took, Meriadoc ‘Merry’ Brandybuck, Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas Greenleaf, Gimli and Gandalf the Grey. The figures will be out later this year with release of the the new LEGO The Lord of the Rings theme and The Hobbit movie.

New Western Sets From Playmobil to be Available in April

April will see the launch of a variety of new Playmobil products, including new sets in the Western theme, which is best known for its American West inspired lineup as well as for its Union and Rebel figures. New products which are set to become available in April include a Water Tower, Windmill, Express Stagecoach and a Take Along Western City. The entire new lineup can be viewed at the official Playmobil website.
